Our new address is 1212 Nuuanu Ave. #4005 Honolulu 96817 (directions)
Yes, this is Randal's former condo
His new address is down the hall #4008

After living/renting in Randy's Ala Mahamoe downstairs and buying his Avalon we thought getting
the condo would round out the package :)

Here is a link to the view, thank you Randy

Found a Place!

We have found a place in Hawaii. But we did not have to look far. Since we moved from Boston to Honolulu my friend Randal has been helping us out quite a bit. First, I bought is car, '05 Avalon then we rented the lower level of his house in Moanalua Gardens and now we are buying his condo at Honolulu Park Place. It is pretty strange but the timing on it all just worked out for both of us.

Here are some pictures of the building, it has lots of recreation.

We have moved

We have moved and our stuff from Boston arrived.
We are getting settled in Moanalua, see map in earlier post.
Yum has found a job at a non-profit helping folks with
disabilities gain skills, services and employment.
I am settled at IBM Hawaii and meeting many customers
and partners. We have not really taken any time off for
fun but should have some fun posted soon.

We are Moving

We are moving from Boston to Honolulu. Steve is taking a new job at IBM back in Honolulu. Yum had previously passed the Hawaii Bar and she is looking for a job and towards the move. Returning to the Honolulu office for Steve will be exciting and he is looking forward to working with the many great customers in the islands.

Harvard Holiday party and Karen Hurst send off

I had my last holiday party at Harvard with the Technology Services group. It was also the occasion to wish Karen Hurst best wishes as she starts her retirement. We had a great luncheon at the Joyful Garden on Soldiers Field Road.

Steve's snowman cake

Even though I am from Hawaii I have become a true Bostonian and tell everyone I love and will miss the snow... so I got a snowman cake from Andree as part of my Harvard send off. The cake tasted great and I enjoyed it with a few folks from Engineering.

Harvard Sushi Lunch

My Harvard office gang took me out for going-away-sushi at Fugyaku in Boston. We got the Boat and had lots of fun and food for all. We missed Nancy at the restaurant but we met up with her at the office.

Boston 23 and snow sleet, Hawaii 79 degrees sunny

This is what we are leaving in Boston, 2nd blizzard in December. Steve digging out his car before some rain ice and car-popsicle

Boxes, mess, boxes

The boxes are piling up as we get ready to move. Yum is doing all of the work as I try to look busy.

Steve & Yum's new location

Steve and Yum will be in Moanalua, right below Tripler hospital (the pink hospital on the hill) and staying at Randals house, downstairs.
You can see the google map here.

Yum's new car "Grover"

In moving to Hawaii we will not be living in the city, like Back Bay Boston, so Yum will be getting her long awaited new car. She finally decided on the Mini Cooper, British racing green with rally stripes. Its good on gas and easy to drive and park. Hope you like it Yum!!!

Steve's new car is Randy's old one

My Maxima is nine years old so we are shipping that to Yum's sister and as timing would have it Randy has a different car again... BMW X5 so I will be getting his 05 Avalon which is one of the cars on my list :)

The IBM office is in town at 1240 Ala Moana Blvd. Honolulu, hI 96814. See the red pin.
